NSBE Testimony: There the number of engineering students in the AUC is small compared to other majors it's encouraging to have an organization like NSBE on campus to turn to. Since joining NSBE during my sophomore year, I've loved the positive atmosphere of AUC NSBE and the network of students who do nothing but support each other to succeed and fulfill NSBE's mission.
Personal Statement: As the Public Relations chair this year I'm striving to increase NSBE's visibility on each campus so that even non-engineering majors know what the National Society of Black Engineers is. This year I have faith in my plan to keep the image of NSBE consistently visible on each campus through postings on our meetings/events, and through online social networking resources.

Interesting Fact: Last year, a group of friends and I entered the Microsoft ImagineCup 2011 software design competition and gained recognition as one of the first ever HBCU teams to participate in this competition.
