NSBE Testimony: I was first introduced to NSBE my freshman year at Clark Atlanta by Dr. Olatidoye. He quickly informed me that it was a student based organization and a great organization to join. I went to the meetings and from that moment on I knew I was going to be apart of something great. Also, I tried to make my voice known since there weren't too many students involved from Clark Atlanta. In the end, I attended the DDEP Awards at the end of the year I won the "NSBE Member of the Year" award which was a great accomplishment.
Personal Statement: As Senator my vision for our organization is to try and bring all the members of all three schools: Clark Atlanta, Morehouse, and Spelman together as one, so that we can be a powerful force in our community and the National Organization. Also, I plan to accomplish these goes by first completing all the requirements of a Senator like, attending all meetings, assisting/doing reports, and informing the chapter on all the rules and regulations that need to be followed.
Favorite Quote: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen"(Heb.11:1). [Faith requires trust and confidence because although you might not can see it now, it can still come later on. For example, sometimes you have to have faith for something as simple as a job and it might not will come on your time, but it will come right in the nick of time!]
Interesting Fact: I am actually really into all different types of music and I can play the clarinet and alto saxophone. Next, I want to learn how to play the guitar!
